“By combining what we have known for centuries about health and healing, with the most recent science-based evidence, I strive to offer a truly holistic approach to wellness”

- Esther Rijk

About me

My name is Esther, and I am an Accredited Practicing Dietitian (APD) and registered Naturopath.

I am passionate about supporting individuals to feel great, reach their personal health goals and develop a healthy relationship with food, without restriction. Utilising education, dietary intervention and herbal medicine, I strive to implement sustainable, realistic and client-centered changes that can be maintained long after our consultations end.

Growing up, a love of food and nutrition was inherent in my lifestyle, naturally leading me to complete a Masters degree in Dietetic Practice at La Trobe University in 2016. A passion for herbal medicine developed after working with indigenous plant medicine in Peru, prompting me to enrol into a Bachelor of Health Science (Naturopathy) at Endeavour College of Natural Health in 2018. I completed my Naturopathy degree in December, 2021.

The core principles of Dietetics and Naturopathy are closely intertwined and very complimentary. By combining what we have known for centuries about health and healing, with the most recent science-based evidence, I strive to offer a truly holistic approach to wellness.

An individualised approach to treatment is a priority for each and every client. This ensures that all dietary/lifestyle recommendations and herbal or nutraceutical prescriptions are tailored to the client and sustainable in the long-term.

I strive to empower people to manage chronic health conditions, as well as focussing on preventative health to achieve and maintain wellness.

 My special interests include:

-        Gastrointestinal health

-        Fatigue

-        Weight loss

-        Inflammation

-        Stress and mental health

-        Autoimmune conditions
